First aid training
First Aid training is a traditional activity of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement worldwide. For a century and a half, millions of volunteers around the world have been saving people in natural disasters, armed conflicts and other emergencies.
You should take a first aid course in order not to panic in an extreme situation, be able to help those affected and possibly save someone's life. Providing first aid is not a theory, but a skill. You cannot learn it by reading even the best practical manual. To perform CPR, stop bleeding and bandage wounds, you must always practice under professional guidance. Being trained in first aid is a real chance to save a human life one day. In addition to the basic first aid training, there are many other courses available at the Red Cross. Parents can take the “Your Child” and “Your Baby” courses (the latter even teaches you how to deliver a baby). For organizations there are First Aid in the Workplace, a CPR course and a course for teachers. And special training programs include, for example, "Dangerous Business Trip" for journalists and a motorbike accident first aid course.
